Key Responsibilities

As a Relationship Officer in the SME Division, you will manage and grow the bank’s SME portfolio. Your primary duties will include:

• Business Development: Identify and acquire prospective SME clients through market research and strategic business development activities.
• Portfolio Management: Manage the Medium, Cottage, Micro, and Small Enterprise credit portfolio of the Bank.
• Credit Processing: Process credit proposals by identifying potential risks and non-compliance. Justify credit requirements and take necessary steps to mitigate risks.
• Proposal Placement: Place full-fledged credit proposals before the Competent Authority of the bank for approval.
• Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with Bangladesh Bank, other Schedule banks, NBFIs, and bi/multilateral organizations to execute different agendas.
• Policy Formulation: Assist in preparing and updating different policies/guidelines for the bank in connection with SME-related activities.
• Site Visits: Conduct official visits to customer locations as required to verify business viability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor/Honors degree in any discipline from a reputed university. Candidates having a professional degree will be given preference.
• Experience: 05 to 08 years of experience in any reputed Bank, with at least 03 years of experience in the specific field (SME/Credit).
• Service Record: Candidates having a break of service need not apply. Fresh Candidates need not apply.
