Key Responsibilities

As the National WASH Coordinator, you will provide strategic and technical leadership. Your primary duties will include:

1. Strategic Leadership & Program Design:

Provide technical leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based WASH interventions across all programming areas (communities, schools, health facilities).
Develop and document contextualized WASH models, tools, and standards for both development and humanitarian contexts.
Ensure alignment with national priorities, global WASH standards, and donor requirements.

2. Quality Assurance & Capacity Building:

Strengthen the technical capacity of WASH staff and partners to deliver standardized programming.
Monitor program quality and facilitate sectoral integration (integrating WASH with Health, Nutrition, etc.).
Promote compliance with technical standards, safeguarding, and accountability protocols.

3. Resource Mobilization & Grants:

Lead resource acquisition efforts through proactive donor mapping and high-quality proposal development.
Manage grants effectively to ensure World Vision secures funding and delivers compliant projects.

4. Advocacy & Networking:

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in implementing WASH projects/programs in developing countries.
Experience in emergency settings is required.
